Two plans. The term is printed on them.
Most people need this for a few weeks, not forever. So each plan runs 30 days and ends on its own.

Refund policy
If your pass ends without a single alert that matched your offices and date window, reply to any of our emails and we refund the plan in full. No form, no questions.
What we never do
Book, hold or sell a slot. Ask for your license number, date of birth or Social Security number. Pretend to be the California DMV.
Do you book the appointment for me?
No, and we never will. We tell you the moment a slot opens at an office you chose, with a link to the official California DMV booking page. You book it there yourself, for free, in about a minute.
What do you need from me?
An email address and the offices you care about. We never ask for your license number, permit number, date of birth or Social Security number.
How fast are the alerts?
We check every few minutes around the clock and email you as soon as we see a match. We will publish our measured detection time once our first long run reports. Until then we make no speed claim.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Your email is your account, and you sign in with a link we send you, so there is no password. You pay for a plan first, then create your request, and you can edit or pause it any time. You can move up to the larger plan during the term.
Which appointments does this cover?
Any appointment the California DMV books online: automobile, commercial and motorcycle drive tests; office visits for REAL ID, first licenses, permits, renewals, replacements, ID cards, reinstatements and name changes; vehicle registration visits; and the evaluations the DMV schedules by notice. The full list is on the home page.
What if nothing opens up?
Cancellations happen every day, especially the day before. If your 30 days end without a single alert that matched your request, we refund the plan in full. Just reply to any email from us.
Is this affiliated with the DMV?
No. DMV Openings is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the California DMV or any government agency.
